In the Summer of 2012, Maria and Tim traveled across the eastern United States and into the Heartland with The Stolen Lives Quilt. As they stopped at over 20 state governors’ offices, they presented the Quilt to key staff members.

Maria successfully submitted the names of TRP Angel Moms Sabine Durden, Mary Ann Mendoza, and 10 other Angel Families as potential speakers at the Republican National Convention. Both women shared their stories the first night of the convention opening up the eyes of thousands in attendance to the injustice illegal aliens continue to perpetuate on American citizens.

TRP hosted a ground-breaking three-day national conference in Houston, Texas. Now-President Donald Trump delivered the luncheon keynote address to an audience of nearly 500 families and supporters from across the country. Emcee was Kris Kobach, former Secretary of State and candidate for Governor of Kansas.

On January 25th, 2017 Maria stood alongside President Trump while he signed two (2) Executive Orders on building the border wall and on interior enforcement. The second Executive Order was to create The President’s Office of VOICE (Victims Of Immigration Crime Engagement), which in fulfillment of his promise to Maria and TRP in 2015. President Trump handed Maria the first pen with which he signed these executive orders.

Hosted a second national conference for victims’ families, supporters, and TRP surrogates, in Washington, D.C. This three-day event kicked-off with a Ladies Luncheon featuring Iowa Congressman Steve King, Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach. The TRP National Conference included an all-day workshop with special guest speakers: Tom Fitton, President of Judicial Watch, former Congressman Tom Tancredo, Corey Stewart former Board of Supervisors-VA, Lenny DePaul, Chief Inspector/Commander U.S. Marshal Service (Ret), Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Tommy Kilbride, former USDHS ICE HQ Policy Advisor, Barbara Gonzalez, VOICE acting Director, and others. Emcee was Chris Salcedo, Radio Show Host. Steve K. Bannon, former White House Sr. Advisor to the President was the keynote speaker.

TRP met with three U.S. Attorneys (two in Texas and one in Virginia) exploring ways to prosecute persons under Title 8 USC Section 1324, who aid and abet illegal aliens. Future meetings are being scheduled in Oregon, New York, and California.
