(Washington, DC) – The Remembrance Project’s National Director and Co-founder Maria Espinoza released the following statement pursuant to the Trump Administration’s Immigration Policy Priorities announced today:
“On behalf of the thousands of Americans who have been killed by illegal aliens, and for their surviving families, we thank President Donald Trump and his dedicated Administration for keeping his word in his Immigration Policy and Priorities that clearly place ‘America First.’
President Trump’s message to Congress, supported by the majority of Americans, will make America safer, and also help voters determine whether their legislators are for Americans or on the side of special interest groups or Big Government. We support President Trump’s proposed immigration principles and priorities that will certainly aid suffering Americans and help to prevent another life from being stolen at the hands of illegal aliens.”
The Remembrance Project Co-founder & National Director, Maria Espinoza, joined several others in Joining Evangelicals for Biblical Immigration.
In a letter to President Trump, Majority Leader McConnell, and Speaker Ryan they stated ‘We agree that immigration reform and DACA are difficult subjects. God loves the foreigner.
Indeed, God loves us all. It takes time to discern the balance of mercy and justice by which a

PALO ALTO, CA – Angel dad, John Pina speaks out about his daughter Christina Sue Pina, 14 years old, who was raped, stabbed and dumped in a California artichoke field in 1990.
Mr. Pina attended The Remembrance Project’s first-ever National Conference in September 2016 where Presidential Candidate Donald Trump was the special keynote speaker. Just prior to Mr. Pina traveling to Houston for the conference, the local sheriff warned him that attending our national conference would jeopardize their investigation. Their 26 year old investigation.
The sheriff also asked for the phone number to someone with our organization to demand the removal of Christy’s memorial panel from our website!
We did not remove Christy from our website and Mr. Pina attending our national conference. The anti-American activists will not silence Americans.
Maria Espinoza, Co-founder and National Director of The Remembrance Project, was summoned to Washington in late January to stand with President Trump at the historic January 25, 2017 signing of his Executive Orders on BORDER SECURITY AND IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT IMPROVEMENTS and on ENHANCING PUBLIC SAFETY IN THE INTERIOR OF THE UNITED STATES. This also coincided with the President’s swearing in of General John Kelly as the new U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS). Attending with Espinoza were five “Stolen Lives” family members from such border-war locations as Houston, Austin, and Mesa, Arizona, representing the tens of thousands of families whose loved ones have been brutally killed by illegal aliens.
At one point, Secretary Kelly privately thanked Maria for her efforts, as they stood behind and to the side of the President, whereas she congratulated him and assured him that The Remembrance Project and all patriotic Americans stand in solidarity with him to make America safe again. Watch Part 1 of the President’s signing video here, and Part 2 here, taken by her husband and this writer, Tim Lyng.
With the signing of the President’s two executive orders, Espinoza and the entire body of border security and law enforcement proponents breathed a collective sigh of relief. These Presidential orders marked a dramatic reversal of illegal aliens who come here, many of whom have killed, even murdered, Americans, and who have perpetrated numerous other crimes against our citizens and upon those who are here legally.
Later Ms. Espinoza would say, “President Trump is a man of his word, a promise keeper to our grieving American families and to all Americans. Finally, 8 years of Obama’s lawlessness is being replaced withlawfulness, and it comes to America not one day too soon. As Americans, we can now envision a day when only those who are its citizens, along with our invited guests, will be sitting at the American table of freedom, justice and prosperity.”
On January 30th, 2017, The New Yorker, in its online magazine, identified patriot and advocate for American families Maria Espinoza, as a prime example of what the New Yorker labels as a “hard-liner” whose “main policy concerns has been the existence of sanctuary cities”. True.
However, the article devolves into a diatribe of false accusations of nativism and prejudice, to which Espinoza responds, “Are you calling me a nativist? If fighting to secure a national immigration policy that serves the best interests of U.S. citizens somehow brands me a “nativist”, so be it. Your words, not mine. I know who I am.” She further rebukes with “When you call me “prejudiced”, against whom are you speaking? My brothers, sisters, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and daughter, all of whom are Americans of Latino heritage? You need to look in the mirror and check your own prejudices!”
Maria Espinoza: “A Clinton ascension to the White House will be a possible “fait de complet” for America, a final unravelling of the Constitution, and the irreparable loss of our God-given unalienable rights. The mere thought of four years of yet another lawless administration is one that keeps me and other Liberty Loving Latinos (and stolen lives families) awake at night.”
